Top 5 breakfast places in the world for me. They have huge portions of perfectly seasoned food, cooked to perfection. Plus, they're open at 6 am! The people who work there are knowledgeable & warm. I love the dive bar vibe atmosphere. One of the guys gave us stickers to write our names & stick on the wall. Plus the best part was their music selection, 90s r&b, hip hop old school, pop, rock. They had the best song selection, we'll be back soon!

My friends and I recently visited this place, and we absolutely loved it! It’s pretty hard to find a real, hearty country breakfast these days, but this place delivered the full. From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in the right place.

The pancake was huge, and the taste was absolutely amazing, I loved its fluffy texture.
I also got to try a bite of the sausage, which was perfectly seasoned, and the French toast was soft and delicious.

The atmosphere was unique, and we had such a nice time chatting and enjoying the food. Unfortunately, it’s a bit of a long drive for us; otherwise, we’d be visiting way more often!

Haven't been up to Big Bear in 3 years. Happened to pass by the Grizzly Manor Cafe, w/o reading any reviews. It's a small place under 50 seats. The ambiance is local & patriotic! I was pleasantly Surprised of the portion of food (make your own omelet!). Their menu is very simple 2, 3 pages. Plus you can tell Alot of visitors have passed through here, & had a bite to eat here from the foreign bills & and stickers. Was honored of seeing all of the different service badges up on the wall.
Overall, if you're looking for something local, good food & want to support the community, this is the place.

My husband & I ordered 2 Breakfast Burritos for pick-up. (Menu Description: Breakfast Burrito-Scrambled eggs, bacon, melted cheese, and seasoned potatoes wrapped in a flour tortilla $14.25). As you can see the description doesn’t say anything about “red & green bell peppers or onions” & our burritos were full of them (I’m allergic to bell peppers & my husband is allergic to onions). What good is a menu if it isn’t accurate? This restaurant needs to be transparent with their customers and sympathetic to the families that aren’t on tight budgets due to the current economy, for most families….going out to a restaurant for a meal is rare & a good food is what they are paying for and expect. Our experience was awful & could have been 100% avoidable if the menu was accurate. Waste of money and will not be going back.

Saw this place being recommended on social media and came down. The vibes were good, interesting decor, portions were big, food was decent although nothing to rave about.

Came on a Monday at 12 noon as a party of 2. We waited for 1-1.5 hours.

Worth stopping in at least once for the experience. The pancakes are huge, bigger than plate. A very busy spot, expect to wait 15-30 minutes. It's a smaller done making the most of their space; open kitchen set- up. Quick service once you are seated. The food is good and several choices of pancakes to include gluten-free. Everyone at our table enjoyed the plates ordered.

So, are you looking for a great place to eat breakfast while visiting Big Bear Lake? Well, look no further than the Grizzly Manor Café, but we warn you, you better bring an oversized appetite because the breakfast portions are enormous. Our eyes were much bigger than our stomachs and we should have simply shared a meal, especially if you order pancakes or a specialty omelet. As for the taste and quality of the meal, simply one of the best breakfast meals you will find anywhere. As for the staff, every one of them had wonderful attitudes, funny yet professional and they sure made us laugh a time or two. This is not a very big restaurant with only a limited number of tables and some counter seating but what they lack in size they make up for it in the size of their meals and the prices are great. There is plenty of free parking on the side of the restaurant and the interior of the restaurant is decorated in a way to honor many who served in the United States Military, which makes it alright in our book any day of the week. Bottom line, great staff, fantastic food with supersized portions and all at a great price and served with a friendly smile. Thank you.

Our experience at this place was incredible! The friendly staff and food were worth the 35-minute wait. We used the time to select our orders from the menu, and once seated, we ordered promptly. The hash browns were cooked to a perfect crisp, and the food was outstanding, making the wait well worth it. Make sure to include this place on your itinerary if you're in Big Bear!
