LOVE THIS SHOP! Gena has the most wonderful products but most of all it's her experience, enthusiasm, and definitely knowledge that gets one motivated to do something with yarn. I have not had the pleasure of starting my Little Chanel Jacket yet but the support from Gena at the Yarn Designers Boutique has been over the top. She has been very responsive in my questions regarding my pattern and has followed up with me with any changes or recommendations for completing this wonderful project. I buy yarn, looms and kits from Yarn Designer’s Boutique. I love all my purchases here. Jena has a degree in fiber arts and she is so helpful if you need assistance. She has her own hand dyed yarns. She teaches classes in silk scarf painting and other classes. I highly recommend this gem of a shop.

I went in on Saturday to buy some yarn for a new project. I'm so happy I did!! Had a chat with Gena, the store owner and she had mentioned she gave knitting lessons on Tuesday and Saturday. I've gone twice and thoroughly enjoy the lessons and the amazing and kind people who frequent the shop. Gena, is a sharp and easy to work with teacher and I'm catching on quickly. I'll definitely be a fixture at her classes while I'm in Big Bear. I highly recommend this shop to fellow yarn enthusiasts!

I love the ergonomics of Furls crochet hooks. My hands tend to ache after too much crochet, and Furls extends my crochet time because it helps stave off pain and fatigue. Plus, the resin weighs much less than the Odyssey line (which is beautiful, just heavy). I can't recommend Streamline hooks enough. Big shout out to Yarn Designers Boutique for making my shopping experience fun and easy. Thanks, team!

Nice selection of yarn! Gena, the owner, helped me find just the right beautiful yarn for my next project and showed me some different patterns. They carry everything from big brands, rare finds, and even their own dyed yarns. Just the place to find something unique. Be sure to check out their "papillon" shawl kit! FYI call ahead for an appointment.

Found this gem while vacationing with my family and could have literally spent HOURS perusing the extensive collection of yarn, patterns and notions. The owner was friendly and very knowledgeable. Her adorable pug was just the icing on the cake 🙂 Next time I visit Big Bear her shop is at the top of my list.
