I found it to be a very interesting experience. It reminded me of a normal motel in the middle of rural Mexico. If you are expecting a 5 star resort experience with room service, etc, this is not for you. If you want an adventure and would accept a standard room without amenities, this might work for you. Their prices are very low and they have a monthly rate that is probably the lowest in the state of California. Keep in mind, this motel is out in the middle of nowhere with no stores in sight to go shopping or anything like that. Talking with others that stayed there reminded me of a time when I stayed at a motel in Arkansas in the middle of the Ozark mountains. It was an experience!

Looks closed now on map, too bad. I used to stay here when I went to rocket launches out on the dry lake. A step back in time. White enamel appliances, 60's magazines laying about. Tons of farmy/deserty / artifacts encrusting managers unit. Shady front porch. Dug it.
