Fabulous company was able to digitally copy a very rare and intricate trim piece for a vintage Italian car . The part copied was curved in every plane ; front and back . Scansite refined the digital file several times with input from me to ensure it would both fit and appear exactly like the original part when machined in metal . Scansite was even able to digitally erase the damage in the original piece so the reproduction came out like a factory new part. The professional service at Scansite translated my novice vision and original rare part into a useable program which was used to machine new and perfect reproductions .
