Rick was a great host and also flagged us down from the street. Welcomed us and our dogs with focaccia bread and dog treats. The wines were also unique and excellent. The winery prides themselves on organic wine making and they were wonderful. Highly recommend!

Add us to the list of "We weren't planning to go there." Rick flagged our group down and got us inside. It's a great vibe. Quaint, clean bathrooms, a pool table, most important, a great host. Rick was outstanding, go Aztecs! He was entertaining, informative and poo-poo'd the far too common snobbery of the wine world. Add to that, the wines are darn good. We left with a bagful of wines and had a heck of a good time. Highly recommend this place.

St Avalo is one of the best winery's on the strip in Los Olivos. Don't pass on this hidden gem on the strip! Rick is so knowledgeable and so warm to new guests! Do no miss this amazing winery!

Hidden gem in Los Olivos! Make sure you stop by St Avalo when passing through this adorable town. We enjoyed tasting these bright and crisp wines on their lovely patio with our dog. Rick was kind and knowledgeable and walked us through the tastings and provided us with homemade focaccia bread and fresh olive oil to accompany. The owner offered us fresh duck eggs and flowers from her farm as a special treat in honor of Mother’s Day. In addition to the excellent wines, this place feels like home with top notch service. Thanks for the great visit, we will be back!

St. Avalo is a new tasting room in Los Olivos that offers a charming and elegant ambiance. It is beautifully decorated with comfy chairs and a lounge area with soft lighting. The atmosphere is relaxing, perfect for a tasting flight or unwinding with a glass of wine. They even have a pool table room in the back 🙂

Rick, our host, was engaging, very informative, and made us laugh. His attentiveness and warm personality made the visit feel personalized and special.

St. Avalo boasts an impressive wine selection. Specifically Grenache/Tempranillo Rosés, Sangiovese, Pinots, Gamay Noir, Dornfelder, and many more. My fave was the Dornfelder. All the wines have accessible prices starting at $30.

Rick had great stories and info on the vineyard and wine making processes.Overall experience was exceptional. Don't miss out on this one! Highly recommend.

Visited this place by chance. No wait and AC and was a hot day. One of the best experiences in Los Olivos. Wines were unique and exceptional. The guest experience was fun and relaxed. When visiting ask for Rick. He was such a great host.
