Horrible Experience – Avoid at All Costs

CRF Behavioral Health Care is a disgrace to the field of mental health. My experience with them was nothing short of appalling, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.

The staff is shockingly unprofessional and unorganized. Scheduling an appointment is a nightmare—expect cancellations without notice, absurd wait times, and zero accountability. When I finally did get to see someone, they were dismissive and rushed, treating me like just another number on their list rather than a person seeking help.

The treatment plans are one-size-fits-all and fail to address individual needs. There is little to no effort made to understand a patient’s unique situation. Worse, they seem more interested in pushing medication than actually providing meaningful therapy or support. I even raised concerns about serious side effects I was experiencing, only to be brushed off completely.

The facility itself is bleak and unwelcoming, more akin to a rundown office than a place meant to foster healing. The lack of cleanliness and upkeep speaks volumes about their overall neglect and disregard for patient well-being.

To make matters worse, billing is a disaster. They overcharged me multiple times, and when I tried to address it, I was met with nothing but excuses and a complete lack of resolution.

CRF Behavioral Health Care is a dangerous and ineffective place for anyone seeking mental health support. If you value your time, money, and well-being, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. This organization should be held accountable for their incompetence and utter lack of compassion.

I'm a impact client . I have been in crisis 2 days now to no avail . I spoke to Sara who said that not even the program can help me . She wouldn't transfer me to anybody except duty worker who I got a mailbox that was full.
I couldn't talk to my doctor ,she said he was off today . I called yesterday 12/11/24 and same thing. What do I do next ? This place is all about passing the buck. Not like how it used to be. 9 yrs I been with impact . They did help me get housed and my SSI but it doesn't stop there. What about now ? Do I go elsewhere or what?

I DO NOT RECOMMEND Advance San Diego.
This agency provides behavioral therapy to people with disabilities.
CASSI NEAL, program director is completely locked of empathy and human sense.
She is not able to take good decisions.
This was the worst experience ever.

I don't know how they keep removing the bad reviews. My one star reviews have disappeared at least 5 times. CRF has bloo* on its hands. Don't help anyone really and only care about getting paid. I wish the damage stopped there but they actually ruin their clients lives. It's so sad. They keep using unwritten policies as an excuse for all the people they hurt.

They don't even rate 1star over the years they have gone down so fast it's not worth trying to ask for help.nurse practitioners prescribe meds that hat such serious side effects that it leaves you debilitated and nurses on your team tell you to take it for 5 to supervisor uncaring 7 days. So crippling

They really don't care about over working the staff. The management team won't listen to employees. It's their way or the highway. They really are not about recovery! They don't understand what recovery is, and it's sad. This company wants to look good for the county of San Diego.

They sat on my referral for weeks and then denied my child services because I was once employed there. Honestly this is disgusting I was upfront about having worked there from the beginning still they did the intake and allowed my child which is going through emotional issues severe enough to seek help in her own only to deny us services weeks later. How unprofessional 70% of the staff is no longer there and my child and I were both okay because the leftover staff and I really were not close colleagues they came at the end of my employment there.

You're better off homeless than being apart of the impact. This entire com research foundation is full of ineptness and incompetence. basically a waste of tax payers dollars.
