Within five sessions, my knowledge and applications of biology to labs escalated. The mentors (TASHA and SAM) and TAs (CHI and DAVINA) were sweet and informative about the lab procedures and made the lab go smoothly. They were the perfect educators on molecular biology that perfectly explain the things we do in the lab handbook. Molecular biology one is a wonderful intro program to delve into STEM for stem curios students!!!

Over this course I gained much knowledge about molecular biology in specifics. This course was extremely helpful for my understanding in biology as a whole and how labs work in real life. It is fun interactive and has a very engaging environment to work in. 🙂

ULP provided a great introductory-level course in biotechnology that was suitable for a wide range of ages. Among other things, the class explored the use of practical biotech tools, the process of staining cells for viewing under a microscope, and a method to extract DNA from cells. Instruction was clear and easy to follow, and the class went at a good pace and was enjoyable and informative.
