Eric Dawson with ClickAway Computers in Santa Cruz is more than an IT Technician as his card reads. He is a computer master, guru, and all around a nice guy to deal with. My aged 12 year old desktop computer could no longer handle updated software that was supported. I met with Eric and discussed options. Rather than buy an off the shelf computer, I asked Eric to design one for my rather simple needs, but I wanted one that was quiet, fast, and had memory capacity. Boy did Eric deliver. He sourced the hardware, put the unit together in a day or two and set it up in my home with a fresh monitor to boot. The new computer is great, but mostly I appreciate the skill and energy Eric put into the project. Thank you ClickAway and thank you Eric Dawson.

Overall, excellent service and patience. I had an odd issue with my computer that became something larger; Eric spent time with me and was willing to dig deeper to make sure I was 100% satisfied.

A small complaint. There was some inattention to detail on one of my repairs. One of the repairs I received was not done properly, forcing me to return to the store. However, they were understanding and self-aware of this issue and worked with me to solve it properly. So I appreciate that.

Thanks a lot Eric for your patience, concern, and the little screws you found for my computer. Sorry for all the hassle 🙂

Click Away was recommended by the tech at the Capitola Verizon store when I needed to discern whether or not my phone could be saved after a long bath in the toilet. ?‍?. I met with Angel, who was PROFESSIONAL, knowledgeable and efficient. He said he would call by end of business the following day--which he did. I felt I was in very capable hands at Click-Away, and I was. While my phone was a total loss, I was glad to have "discovered" this great little repair shop. They are fantastic, I dropped my phone into the ocean which, as far as I'm concerned, should have been the end of that (keep in mind this phone had no IPX rating as the screen had been replaced previously so it was not water proof). I brought it in to them to hopefully have the data on it recovered. Not only did they clean out the inside of the phone and get it running again but they replaced the camera module (which I'll remind you was full of SALTWATER) and the phone works like new again! They didn't even charge me for labor when installing the camera module which came a few days later after they had already done the work of opening up the phone and cleaning off the motherboard and then putting the screen back on so I could use it in the meantime. I only got their email about the camera module having arrived an hour before they closed, arrived 45 minutes before they closed and their Android tech was already on his way out of the building. I explained to him that I was leaving on a climbing trip early the next morning and that I was really looking forward to taking my camera with me and he stayed to finish the repair before they closed! Shout-out to Angel, this man deserves a raise!!! All of this for half the price of what it would have cost to buy the same phone refurbished online!

My printer was out of warranty HP 9025e with the TWO TRAYS one for legal and one for letter size paper...rarely found anymore so I love this printer...got a paper jam and thought I got it all but evidently I didn't...even if I had the warranty just the mess of sending it back for repair...Eric at ClickAway fixed in one day, cleared some paper pieces and got the ink cartridges to function....for a small fee worth every penny. I highly recommend them.....

Just tried to bring my dead system that I had them work on 2 months ago (to no legitimate repair, they ran velocity x and called it a day)in for a plug and play diagnostic, asked if i could be quoted less than the over 100 dollar diagnostic I payed last time. They wouldn't budge and demanded another 100 dollars just to plug a donor gpu in and confirm the issue. What a joke. Stay away from them
