I can't say enough how blessed our town is to have Golden Hills IT. Someone tried to hack me. I called Daniel right away, he told me what to do, and then I brought it down to this store, they worked on it, cleaned the hard drive and the hackers didn't get me. It was a close call! Tnx, Golden Hills IT. <3 C

I had stupidly tried to install a suspicious software and caused my laptop to repeatedly reboot so that I could not do anything. We were visiting Tehachapi for just a week. I contacted Golden Hills IT and spoke to Daniel about getting my laptop repaired.

Daniel was very professional and knowledgeable! I brought in my laptop and he explained what had happened and what he and his associate Paxton would do to correct the problem. They had to copy off all my data and reinstall Windows. They then put all my data back on my laptop and got it working correctly again!

Had my portable hard drive crash and almost cried.... Dan was able to recover a high percentage of my files and was extremely helpful in answering my many questions. 24 hours after showing up at the shop, my files were recovered and on a new drive as well as heading to the cloud at Dan's recommendation. Would highly recommend Golden Hills IT for any and all repairs you may need for your computer! Daniel responded to my inquiries about getting my laptop looked at promptly and very courteously. He answered all of my questions, gave me a reasonable quote and had my laptop up and running in no time.
Daniel was able to save all of my data, replaced the drive, and had everything reloaded in less than 3 hours. Guaranteed work, licensed, and offered phone support if needed. Thank you again, Daniel Burgess!

Excellent service, great advice, quick work, friendly relations, and clearly trustworthy.
I’ve been meaning to upgrade my personal PC for awhile now and had to do a major overhaul, wanted to get a new motherboard, cpu, memory, ram, graphics card, the whole shebang. I bought the cpu and motherboard myself, and for a reasonable price Daniel, the owner, was able to install the new motherboard and cpu in a good time. He then was able to help me out more by recommending what to upgrade next, as well as what models of everything to get. He even recommended I buy the parts myself so that they have warranty and it would be cheaper. He even showed me where to look for the best prices! Not only all that, but he even told me how to install certain things like the RAM stick and GPU so that I could save some money instead of having to pay him, all while being available to call during the open hours for questions I had. All in all, I would say that there is no way I can imagine a better experience than what I received!
I highly recommend coming here, with the friendly staff, quick work, expertise, and the care for customers that you can trust.

Went for the first time a few weeks ago and it was a great experience! He was very nice to me and explained everything he did and why he did it. My computer had a problem that he said he had never seen before and despite that he tried and spent time looking over everything to try and figure out what was the problem and he eventually did figure it out and my computer has been running great ever since. Highly recommend this place to everyone that has some kind of computer problem or needs installations! 10/10
